I think things are getting easier to motor around this blog. Adding different links and pictures.
Hoping that the links will connect to my Ravelry page.
So many projects to see and have to live to be a hundred and five to do even half of the ones I have marked already as favorites.
Thankfully my family was kept save and out of harms way from Hurricane Gustav. Pray that all my friends and their families are save also.
Still waiting for little Peanut to arrive and should be anyday soon.
Hugs and blessings for a wonderful week everyone.

I do not understand your free knit pattern for all-roads-lead-to-diamonds. I really love this pattern and want too make this blanket for my grandson who will be born in December, 2008.
Does your pattern on only 45 stitches indicate that this blanket is knit in strips? Please indicate what I am missing. Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated.
Hi Christy
The pattern there is only a cloth size which uses 45 stitches.
The pattern repeat is 7sts plu 1.
So you would multiply the number of repeats by 7 and then add 1,
Example a baby blanket usually uses around 154 stitches,
Divide 154 by 7repeats of pattern plus 6 for borders(3 each side) +1
So you would cast on 161 stitches.
Have
k3 border pattern for 155 than 3 stitches for other side of the border.
You have to read the pattern a couple of times and then you would get the drift.
Hope this helps you and please feel free to use the design for your blanket.
Forgot to add Christy if you need more help just hollar. Not feeling up to par right now so not on computer much but get a message on my regular e-mail if you would post here.
Happy knitting.
