This is my Doily from the 1918 Doily pattern. Very easy doily to make and love the color combinations.

Love this doily and will make it again. Only thing lots of ends to weave in.

This 8 inch doily was made for the August Challenge for the Doily of the month group.
Thought it turned out very nicely too.

Pineapple Bloom Doily

Here is my finished Pineapple Bloom doily. The design is one of Patricia Kristoffersen and is very challenging. Especially the last row. But finally finished it.

Love it.

26ppii #6 Socks

This pair is one of my own designs and for me.
Am ashamed to admitt these have been on the needles since Dec 22,1910. But due to all my other commitments was never able to finish this pair.
THIS WAS THE WEEK I DECIDED THEY HAD TO BE FINISHED AS TIRED OF HAVING THEM LAYING AROUND
AND COULD NOT WEAR THEM
This gorgeous pair of socks was knitted with Lana Grossa meilenweit wool sock yarn.
Is a beautiful mixture of blacks and greys with a little navy in the yarn.
Nice yarn to work with but found it was splitting a bit when getting to the end of the ball. Maybe I was in too big of a hurry to finish them. But they fit me so nice and are very comfortable. Used 2.25mm needles so made a tighter fit.

Finished these for a Christmas gift. Have to start early as have over 15 pairs to make for this Christmas.
Fabel Yarns and very nice to work with. Yarn is self stripping.
Started this pair on July 28th and finished on Aug 5, 2011 These are one of the size 12 pairs which I have to make a few.
