Flags over Washington for Obama January 20,2009

Designed this today in honor of the 44th President of the USA. I feel so excited for the American people and their families. My grandfather was born 1870 in the USA so have always felt the connection to the states.
This is a historical moment for all the Americans as well as the Canadians.
I wanted something to remember this day by and this project became very special to me as I was struggle what design to make for the Monthly bookmark group.

Hope you all enjoy the free pattern. Copy it and share it in honor of this
memorable day. Just ask that you don't claim it as your own.

Isaac Samuel 4.25 months old

Isaac Samuel 4.25 months old.
He is growing up so fast. Actually grabbing and playing by himself now.
Wow how time flies. Yes his daddy is the little boy with in the blue shirt with the red collar. I do see some resemblance.

Isaac Samuel's new Placket neck pullover

This has to be one of the nicest patterns I have seen for a raglan pullover.
Works up very nicely and lots of options for this one.
Want to make more of these sweaters and the pattern is good for quite a few sizes
You can check out the pattern here or receive it free on Ravelry.

New sock patterns on the go for Christmas

These socks are for Christmas gifts. Boys wear size 12 & size 13 so more of a challenge to get them finished in time.
All other projects are on hold until these are finished. Then I will post all my pictures of socks for this family together. A total of 7 pairs, sizes 8, 9, 11,12, 2 of size 13 and 1 pair size 14. Whew this is a milestone in my life to complete these on time.

These are the new sock patterns I am working on now for Christmas presents.
These boys wear size 12 & 13 shoes so is more of a challenge to finish them.
